Summary

This is the Nikon 55 a manual macro lens at the minimum focus distance of the Nikon 50 I have (which is the f/1.8 version). If you want to use the 50/55mm any closer than this (40cm) you need to have a macro function. For reference the little reindeer is about 7 cm high.
