12 Megapixel Full frame
I do not own this camera, but I have access to it at my workplace. Very robust camera. The shutter count is not even 10'000 although it is more than 10 years old. This is a typical use if the owner is not taking it around al the time, and perhaps 5% of the lifetime of such a camera.
Price
This camera is no longer manufactured, so your only chance is to look for it used. For this project when I was looking for a used camera to buy, I had a hard time not buying another one. They can be had for as little as 250, a ridiculously good value.
The problems
- No video
- Getting a bit older, after a while electronics/batteries will start failing
- Heavier camera
These pages are for Amateur Photographers and not really for seasoned photographers and professionals. I have no affiliation or commercial interest with any brand/make. I write from my own experience. I ended up using mainly Nikon, so I am more familiar with this brand than others. See price for notes on pricing as well as photography related links.
