It is hard for me to point out why I like pictures like these from the Nikon 180. Is it the aperture (<kbd>f/2.8</kbd>), the sharpness, the bokeh, I simply can not put my fingers on it. One caveat is that, for a long manual focus lens, such cooperative subjects that do not move are very welcome. A galloping horse would be a bit more challenging.
